The Proposal
Barcelona, Spain
On a trip to visit some family friends in Spain, Nick brought Lara into the gardens of Barcelona and with the help of some Spanish wine and a few American ring pops, he mustered up the courage to ask Lara to be his wife. Surprised but overjoyed, she agreed without hesitation and Lick was official :) The two then set sail on a private sunset boat ride around the bay to celebrate the occasion. It was the beginning of a journey to last a lifetime.
After almost 5 years of dating, traveling the world, and moving in together, they decided it was time to take the next step. Through life’s ups and downs they had been there for one another, through job transitions, new apartments, a global pandemic, and the adoption of a new cat, Leonard. They had started to build a little family. Differences in their personalities had pushed them to grow as individuals and sharing in life’s joys and sorrows had bound them together.
